Apple Launches ‘Creator Studio’ Bundle Starting at $12.99 per Month

Apple is rolling out a new subscription bundle aimed squarely at creators. Called Apple Creator Studio, the package brings together some of the company’s most popular creative apps along with premium features in its iWork suite, all for $12.99 per month or $129 per year.

The Creator Studio bundle includes access to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on both Mac and iPad, plus Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac. Subscribers also unlock premium content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, with Freeform coming to the bundle later for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Apple is offering discounted pricing for education users, with college students and educators paying just $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. The subscription launches on January 28, and all new subscribers will receive a one-month free trial.

Alongside the announcement, Apple revealed a wave of new features coming to its creative apps. Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad is getting tools like Transcript Search for finding soundbites, Visual Search to locate clips by describing them, and Beat Detection for tighter edits. The iPad version also adds Montage Maker for quick project starts and Auto Crop to automatically reframe content.

Logic Pro is also getting a boost, with new features including Synth Player, Chord ID, a refreshed sound library, natural language search, and more tools designed to speed up music production.

The bundle includes MainStage, which turns a Mac into a live performance setup for instruments, vocals, or guitar rigs. Meanwhile, Pixelmator Pro, which Apple acquired in 2024, is arriving on iPad for the first time, bringing full Apple Pencil support and fast, professional-grade image editing to mobile creators.

Creators also gain access to Motion, Apple’s motion graphics tool for building 2D and 3D effects, and Compressor, which works alongside Final Cut Pro and Motion to fine-tune export and distribution settings.

“Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, noting that the bundle combines powerful tools with intelligent features designed to speed up workflows.

In Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, the subscription unlocks a new Content Hub filled with high-quality photos, graphics, and illustrations, along with new premium templates and themes. Creator Studio subscribers also get access to beta features in Keynote, such as generating presentation drafts from text outlines, creating presenter notes automatically, and quickly cleaning up slide layouts. In Numbers, users can generate formulas and auto-fill tables using Magic Fill and pattern recognition.

Apple emphasized that creators who prefer to buy apps outright still have that option. Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage will remain available as one-time purchases on the Mac App Store, while Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and Freeform will continue to offer free versions.
